Building on from prior digital foundations, NCT advanced traceability, operational visibility and compliance readiness through improved member information systems, spatially linked source verification and stronger chain-of-custody support aligned to EUDR requirements. Internal systems were also enhanced to improve stability, connectivity resilience and responsiveness as operational demands increased. A full redevelopment of the Plantation Information Management System (PIMS) is underway and is expected to support both Tree Farming operations and the broader member base. Cybersecurity remained a key focus through stronger protections, improved access controls and staff awareness initiatives, while future developments include Track and Deliver capability, deeper spatial integration and selective exploration of artificial intelligence for pest and disease monitoring. Year-end Position and Forward Outlook The financial year concluded with NCT arguably in a materially stronger and more resilient position to deal with everchanging market demands and changes. Operational capacity at mills was largely restored, digital systems embedded and certification readiness significantly enhanced. While mixed Eucalyptus markets remained constrained, early signals of gradual improvement emerged. Strong Acacia demand, improved system visibility and disciplined governance provide a solid foundation for the Co-operative as it enters the new financial year.
