19 6 0 Y e a r s a n d g r o w i n g NCT today As we stand today, NCT has full ownership of three wood-chipping companies, strategic farms totaling 18 000 planted hectares of timber reservoir, experienced and committed staff in all fields and, most importantly, more than 2 000 loyal Members. Excellent trading relationships have been developed with a number of leading customers both locally and abroad. Furthermore, a number of projects aimed at securing and enhancing NCT’s Mission, which is to assist its Members to achieve their full forestry potential and to optimise their financial results on a sustainable basis, are being pursued with vigour. NCT is proud of the marketing achievements of the first 60 years of its history, and remains fully focused on building on these achievements. We are confident that timber growers will continue to co-operate in the years to come, as they have in the past and, given the considerable assets we now have, this will enable us to assist future generations of tree farmers to grow from strength to strength.
