A major achievement was the successful migration of the Scheduling System to the Oracle Autonomous Database Cloud platform—marking a strategic shift toward scalable, secure, and future-ready infrastructure. Network resilience was also significantly improved through the deployment of a dual-fibre BGP failover solution, ensuring uninterrupted connectivity to the on-premises data centre. In parallel, core Oracle ERP systems are continually enhanced to deliver greater stability and performance, while mobile applications were redeveloped to improve field usability and data integrity. Continued investment in staff development—particularly in React Native and Oracle APEX—has increased in-house development capacity, while monthly phishing simulations have reinforced the organisation’s cyber resilience posture. Strategic Revamp of Member-Facing and Mobile Systems NCT’s digital presence was notably elevated through the complete redevelopment of the member website and key mobile applications. The new website now offers an intuitive, mobile-responsive interface, making it easier for members to navigate and access up-to-date content. On the mobile front, core operational apps were rebuilt with a focus on performance, reliability, and offline functionality. Custom interfaces were developed for different stakeholder groups to improve operational clarity. Suppliers now access dashboards that display delivery schedules, load tracking, and payment details relevant to their operations. Meanwhile, transporters – who often manage logistics on behalf of multiple suppliers – use a unified system to coordinate deliveries and manage truck allocations across several accounts. This role-based customisation has improved visibility, accountability, and efficiency across the supply chain. The new Supplier App showcases these features with a modern interface tailored to the specific needs of each user group.
